    Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

    About the role

    In this role, you'll manage supplier relationships, audit against policies, and ensure customer satisfaction. You'll approve specifications, handle incidents, and implement proactive processes. Providing expertise on legal aspects of winemaking, you'll advise on additives and label requirements. You'll organise customer meetings and support legal compliance. Overseeing sampling and testing, you'll ensure product quality. This position demands a proactive individual with strong knowledge of UK regulations and excellent communication skills.

    About You

    You will bring essential expertise in the technical intricacies of wine production and bottling, alongside a comprehensive understanding of HACCP and food safety protocols. Your prior experience collaborating with UK retailers gives you a keen awareness of supply chain fraud risks, ensuring robust safeguarding measures are in place.

    Moreover, you demonstrate a preference for enhancing your knowledge in wine chemistry and staying well-versed of GB food safety and wine legislation. Your familiarity with SEDEX and ethical standards complements your commitment to maintaining integrity throughout the supply chain. Additionally, you excel in both implementing and refining quality management systems, further amplifying your suitability for this role.

    Professional Qualifications & Education

    Essential

    • BRC Lead Assessor
    • HACCP Level 3 or above
    • WSET Level 3
    • Food Technology Qualification

    Preferred

    • WSET Diploma
    • Degree qualification in science
