  • Matthew Clark Bibendum has stood at the forefront of the wine industry for many years and have a strong position in national business covering Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, Pubs & Leisure. We are the market force for national on trade customers providing a fully composite, wine led proposition including spirits, beers and soft drinks. A one stop shop that covers every requirement for the on-trade operators with over 6,000 products.

    The National Hotel Channel supplies most major hotel groups and management operating companies, Hilton, Accor, Marriott, Leonardo’s / Jurys, IHG, RBH Management, Klarent Hospitality to name but a handful. The hotels are serviced across a network of 13 regional depots supplying over 1,000 hotels by a dedicated national hotel team of 12 Hotel National Account Managers and Account Directors. 

     

    About the role

    Working with the National Account Directors and teams alike you'll help manage, retain and grow our hotel channel ensuring that we maximise margins and revenue and responsibility for delivering our budgets through specific accounts supported by our Finance Department and regular GMAR2 reports. you'll maintain and review Accounts and Prospects and ensure that we deliver the confidence and professionalism expected form our customers. 

     

    About you

    You'll have demonstrable experience of account negotiation at a Senior Level, you'll have knowledge and experience of the on-trade drinks business and strong knowledge / background in wine and preferably experience of the hospitality business. You will have a detailed understanding of Account Profitability and Business Planning Skills and have strong interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to develop personal relationships with any influencers and key contacts within our National Hotel Customers.
