We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our Matthew Clark team on a full-time permanent basis at our brand new state of the art Depot facility at Orbital West, Heston.
Shift: Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend working during peak periods)
Shift pattern: Starts at 2pm and finishes at 11pm.
As an experienced manager, you will manage a team which includes supervisors, administrators, and warehouse operatives to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective deliveries are made to our customers.
You will manage agreed customer service level and key performance indicator targets. The role will be managing a team of up to 40 employees, ensuring all orders are picked, packed and loaded accurately and effectively, replenishment of stock levels and to meet delivery schedules while complying to Health, Safety and Fire regulations at all times.
About you:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar position that has strong people skills with the ability to influence and motivate a team. You'll be a great communicator who works well under pressure, be organised and have the ability to identify gaps for continuous improvement.
In this role, being organised is only the start. You also need to be motivated, adaptable and able to take the initiative to solve problems and inspire staff to be the best.
