We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our busy team.
As Payroll Administrator, you’ll support the delivery of payroll for the C&C Group in Scotland & Ireland. This includes payroll review & submission to our 3rd party payroll providers prior to deadline as well as using (and updating) information on payroll records and P11D data tracker while supporting the wider HR team with queries.
You'll have a high level of accuracy and be able to handle data with the utmost sensitivity, whilst maintaining confidentiality.
Matthew Clark is part of the C&C Group which is a leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of premium branded cider, beer, wine and soft drinks. Our C&C brands include Tennent’s (Scotland’s favourite beer), Bulmers (Ireland’s No 1 cider) and, Magners as well as a growing portfolio of super-premium and craft beers and ciders, such as Menabrea and Orchard Pig, rooted in nearby Somerset.
What you'll do
Other key responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator are:
Delivery of payroll alongside 3rd party provider for our sites
Liaise with the HR team to ensure all payroll changes are captured
First point of contact for payroll and pay queries
Updating & maintaining accurate information on the employee payroll records while adhering to strict confidentially and GDPR
Reconciliation of PAYE liabilities, pension, and 3rd party deductions/payments
Provide HR administration services across the employee lifecycle (including employment contracts)
Support the wider HR Services team

Be client focused in your attitude to work and be able to communicate directly with different businesses
Numerically and IT literate, particularly in use of spreadsheets
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Great verbal communication with attention to detail
