What you’ll do
Working as part of the Group in-house legal team providing high quality, accurate, pragmatic, timely and well-presented legal advice on a wide variety of non-contentious and contentious issues to internal and external stakeholders, as part of a high-performing in-house legal team.
You'll develop an understanding of the business, its objectives and the external market place and provides tailored advice in respect of supply of goods and services, trade-marks, data protection, employment, real property, licensing, marketing and other regulatory matters.
Manages, reviews and protects the existing trade mark portfolio, working collaboratively with the business to manage brand protection and to provide tailored advice to the business.
You’ll have be qualified solicitor or have equivalent legal qualification. Ideally, you’ll be used to working in a Sales or Operational setting and ideally have sector knowledge but that’s by no means essential. What we’re really looking for is someone with good problem solving, decision making and judgement skills and strong legal skills relating to commercial contracts.
Experience of building strong relationships and delivery successfully in fast-paced, changing environments.
Knowledge of the FMCG industry is preferred but not essential, also knowledge or experience of advising on trade marks, real property or licensing matters.
