What you'll do
You'll develop an overarching People plan for the Matthew Clark team that ensures the business has the right structure, people, ways of working and approach to deliver improved business performance
You'll also work with each of the management team to develop a HR people plan for their respective areas and to work collaboratively with their teams and other HR colleagues to implement effectively.
You'll be successful with creating development and succession opportunities within the team to develop potential and talent from within for business requirements.
You'll develop and implement the people plan within the business, incorporating performance & talent management, recruitment & selection, internal communication, reward & recognition and training & development.
You'll contribute to the development of the business plan as a key member of the management team. You'll also take responsibility for controlling people related spend, and successfully delivering headcount and people overhead cost management. Leading the HR team to focus on flexibility, efficiency and eradicating duplication.
You''ll ensure an approach of ‘joined up thinking’ is embedded in all people activity.
